School Tours

Field Trips at the Phippen Museum

Student tours are available by appointment and can be customized to align with curriculum needs. To schedule your visit, please contact our Education Coordinator, Theresa Filiger, at (928) 778-1385.

Tour Details:

  • Duration: Approximately two and half hours
  • Availability: Thursday & Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM (subject to availability)
  • Group Size: Classes will be divided into groups of 12-15 students. A chaperone-to-student ratio of 1:10 is required for grades K-12.
  • Admission: FREE for school tours with advance notice. One teacher and two chaperones per 30 students are also admitted free of charge. Additional adults pay an admission fee of $7.00.
  • Bus Reimbursement: Available up to $200 per school per year. Contact the museum for more information.

Field trips include engaging activities, such as a collaborative arts and crafts project and an exploratory activity in one of our galleries.
