May 4 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Transportation of the West!

Youth Art Workshop
Saturday, May 4th | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
FREE

Join us every first Saturday of the month with education coordinator (Theresa Filiger). Dive into Western heritage and culture, then unleash your creativity with themed art activities. Free for Museum Members and guests, children must be accompanied by an adult. Walk-ins welcome, reservations encouraged.

Hop on board for a journey through the fascinating history of transportation in the American West! From the iconic covered wagons to the thundering trains, discover how these modes of transport shaped the landscape and eased settlement across the frontier. Join us on May 4th as we explore the evolution of travel and create your own miniature covered wagon. Don’t miss out on this hands-on learning experience for students and parents alike!

And while walk-ins are welcome, if possible, we ask that you please pre-register by following this link: RSVP Now. This program is offered FREE for all ages. And while all children can participate free of charge, they must be accompanied by an adult.
