July 11th: Cow Folks & The Law
Come explore law and order in Yavapai County
in the 1800s-1900s as explored through our Western Heritage gallery. Through our
exploration, we will discuss the different attire that was worn and why it differs from
what we wear today. Our attendees will create wanted posters and make cork cow
folks to take home.
July 12th: All About George
In celebration of George Phippen’s birthday, we will
explore and learn about George and analyze some of the great work we have on display
in our James Gallery. And what is a birthday without cake and ice cream? Our attendees will also learn how to
make ice cream and decorate cakes for this special event.
