June 27: Home on the Range
In this lesson, we’ll explore the delicate relationship between cows and the farmers who care for them, along with other farm animals. Campers will get hands-on experience making butter and enjoy it with biscuits. They will also bring home their own work of art: a fork-painted rooster.

June 28: Good Ole’ USA
Preparing for the 4th of July, students will delve into the unique history of the American Flag and how it has evolved over time, influenced by historical events. We’ll also focus on our local history here in Yavapai County and explore its rich ranching heritage. Campers will create their own American flag out of corks and design their best ranch, learning the difference between ranches and farms.

See you at the Museum!
