We are thrilled to announce that the Phippen Museum will proudly host the prestigious Oil Painters of America’s 2024 Western Regional Exhibition from October 12th, 2024, through January 5th, 2025! This exceptional event will showcase approximately 100 of the finest representational oil paintings, highlighting outstanding draftsmanship, color, and composition.
Join us for the Opening Reception on Friday, October 18th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, where the evening will culminate in an awards presentation at 7:00 PM. Celebrate this remarkable gathering of talent with total awards amounting to approximately $11,500 in cash and merchandise, including a $4,000 Best In Show prize, judged by OPA Signature member and local award-winning artist, Steve Atkinson.
