Join us in front of the Phippen for this live demonstration presented by Amanda Marsh and her horse, Mijo. Hailing from Guadalajara, Mexico, 20-year-old Mijo now enjoys his time with Amanda doing cattle and trail rides. Originally having a demonic name, Amanda changed it to Mijo to reflect her love for him and where he comes from. And despite Spanish being his first language, he is not a huge fan, being noted to look at her cluelessly as she tries to speak to him in his native tongue. “Mijo is my best boy, a really great horse, almost like a son,” said Amanda. So come join us and enjoy learning about general horse care, grooming, and western tack…all while interacting with her loyal and constant companion, Mijo.
