We’re excited to announce that renowned photographer Joe Webster will be hosting an engaging hands-on workshop at the Phippen Museum, December 6th. With years of expertise, Joe will share his knowledge in two fascinating presentations before diving into an in-depth workshop.
For those who attend his talks in November and want to dive deeper into the techniques discussed, Joe will be leading a hands-on workshop on December 6th, 2024. The workshop will cover both macro-photography and still-life photography. This is a hands-on workshop, so be sure to bring your camera and tripod! Joe will provide lighting equipment, backdrops, and subjects for everyone to work with. For those interested in trying out new gear, Joe will also have some loaner equipment available.

Whether you’re shooting indoors during bad weather or simply want to experiment with everyday objects, Joe will provide insights into lighting, composition, and how to breathe life into static subjects. He’ll also share a history of still-life photography and offer creative inspiration.
