Free Range Art: Storytime with Sally Bates

Join us on Saturday, January 24 from 11:00 AM–12:30 PM for a special children’s program featuring author Sally Bates. Children will enjoy a live reading by Sally in the Swanson Gallery, followed by the opportunity to purchase her book and have it personally signed.

After storytime, participants will head to our downstairs classroom to create a watercolor winter scene, inspired by the day’s story and the season.

Sally Bates is the driving force behind the Arizona Cowboy Connection, author of numerous books, and a contributor and co-editor of Facing West. She has been recognized by several prestigious organizations for her contributions to Western literature and history.
