A cyanotype is a slow-acting, UV-sensitive photographic printing process that produces a distinct print it creates images by exposing an object or negative on light-sensitive paper or fabric to UV light, such as the sun, and then washing it with water to develop the color. There are varieties of cyanotype caused by the usage of different materials and dry versus wet media.
