his is my love letter to Arizona, disguised as a hiking and dining guide. I salvaged many of the trails and eateries from the first “Boots and Burgers” (now out of print) but then added 40 more! That’s a total of 70 restaurants and 70 trails in a huge volume of 347 pages! I’ll work off plenty of burger calories just hauling boxes of these massive volumes around to presentations. And, in honor of my vegetarian wife, I include vegetarian options at each of the restaurants. This is a book I’ve been preparing for my whole life. Hiking and eating burgers across Arizona-that’s my idea of paradise. Now you can come along on some of my very best days. The book also features 100 color photos, lots of fun facts, hot tips, sidebars, humor, and some pretty sweet writing in general, if I do say so myself. I hope this will find a spot on your shelf.
