Sedona, AZ- Robert Albrecht, a highly-acclaimed Fine Art Portrait photographer based in Sedona, Arizona, has several images of Joe Beeler CA available for sale through the Phippen Art Museum Gift Shop in Prescott, Arizona.
Known for his innovative and moving images of his subjects, in 2005 Albrecht created a series of portraits of Joe Beeler, who was internationally recognized as one of the premier Western artists and sculptors of our time and who lived in Sedona. Although Joe Beeler is no longer with us; his spirit and humor lives with us through these images.
"Joe was a remarkable individual. When you first meet him, you are aware that you have met a man that was true "Cowboy" and someone who was dedicated to his art-whether it was shown in a sculpture or relayed through his attention to detail in his paintings. He always had a smile and a little twinkle in his eyes that reminded you that he may pull another 'Joe Joke' on you at any time." Albrecht recalls.
It is appropriate that images of Joe Beeler hang in the Phippen Museum, since it was Joe Beeler, George Phippen, Charlie Dye and John Hampton that formed the Cowboy Artists of America in Sedona at the Oak Creek Tavern, now known as the Cowboy Club, in 1964.
The images are available for viewing and purchase in "Limited Editions" at the Phippen Museum. For additional information you can contact the Phippen Museum at 928/778-1385.
