M. Lynn VanlandinghamRefreshing is the artist who manages to renew man's spirit while nourishing his soul, such an artist is M. Lynn Vanlandingham. His watercolor and pencil sketches provide the viewer the beauties of man's surroundings through thoughtful expressions. His versatility and diversification of subject matter coupled with a talent for creating a gossamer-like quality have won him many awards of merit. The artist graduated from Kansas State College with a BS in Architecture and currently has a successful architectural practice in Prescott. His art training began in college where he studied with John Helm, Birger Sandzen and Louis Hafermehl. His paintings and sketches are part of collections throughout the United States and Mexico. He was the guest of the Department of Bellas Artes, State of Jalisco, Guadalajara, Mexico for an exhibition of his work in 1979. |
