A renowned landscape painter in New Mexico, Chris has received numerous awards for his beautiful oils and has been featured in many publications such as American Art Collector, Southwest Art and International Artists magazines. Chris has this to say about the lovely painting that he has provided for the Phippen Museum's Miniature Masterpieces Art Show & Sale: : " The winter in the mountains near Taos NM is rich with subject matter. Great snow, clear unfiltered light accentuates the rich warm and cool colors that make winter my favorite time to paint this area. This painting was done on the spot in the snow.
