Sheri Greves-Neilson, Bo's Baby, watercolor, 7x7, $600 |
Sheri Greves-NeilsonSheri Greves-Neilson has been interested in art for as long as she can remember. She became a professional artist in 1981 and almost immediately began winning awards. Her work has been featured on the cover of Western Horseman magazine, in articles in Art of the West, Equine Images, and American Artist magazines. The University of Idaho selected her to draw a portrait of the first cloned equines (mules) in 2004, to help raise money for cancer research. Sheri also does illustrations for Western Horseman's yearly calendars. In her effort to portray the west in an honest intelligent manner she gets hands on experience whenever possible, going on yearly cattle drives and working with ranchers. Sheri is represented by Toh-Atin Publishing (CO), Judith Hale Gallery (CA) and Austin Gallery (TX). She lives on her own ranch in northern California, with her husband, David, her four horses and three miniature donkeys. |
