Saturday, May 27th at 6PM in the Plaza View Ballroom
An exciting evening of western fun and art takes place at the Denim to Diamonds Gala Dinner & Live Art Auction on Saturday, May 27th at the Plaza View Ballroom in the historic Bashford-Burmeister building overlooking the courthouse plaza.
Our special guests will enjoy one of the finest dining and western entertainment experiences anywhere in the southwest. The festivities will begin with attendees mingling and enjoying refreshing cocktails, tasty hors d'oeuvres and the spectacular views. In addition, a special performance featuring the incredible talent of Pick N' Holler, an old time stringband, will keep the atmosphere alive and jumping. They play music from America's past, preserving the sounds that have brought people together for centuries. From fairs and festivals, to barns and boxcars, this group of extremely talented musicians produces high energy old time music that will keep your feet moving and faces smiling. The evening's delicious dinner menu includes butler passed appetizers, a juicy roast beef dinner with all the fixins, a scrumptious dessert and a cash bar. And to top off the evenings activities, award-winning artist, Valeriy Kagounkin, will offer up for auction a stunning oil painting to benefit the museum's ongoing educational programming. So don't miss any of the fun.
